    I'm pretty new here, So I hope this isn't a dumb question. When I update with the newest BD Rebuilder program should I also update with the newest programs that BD Rebuilder requires (ffdshow, Haali Media Splitter and avisynth).

    No.

    From the BDRB support forum: "In order to make this beta version work, you have to first install some other packages. I highly recommend you use ONLY the versions linked below, as sometimes new version changes can cause unexpected issues."

    After reading some of the posts, It looks like some people did upgrade all programs with no problems and some had problems, Seems confusing to me.
