Hi,
I converted an avi-file to mpg with TMPGenc to burn a VCD.
After the conversion, the picture ist, as it seems, stuttering.
Is this similar to the "Sound-out-of-sync-problem" I've read about?
What settings do I need?![]()
Thanks in advance,
Basileus

I have had the same problem on a couple of files. Unfortunately, I haven't received any responses to my post, beyond the suggestion to optimize my system.
Either we are asking an insanely stupid question, or we have stumped the experts.

Did you use the standard VCD template in TMPGenc to encode the avi?
What device are you using to play back the VCD (computer or standalone DVD player)?
If you encoded with a higher-than-standard bitrate on your VCD (over 1150), your DVD player may stutter due to the higher rate...just a thought.
