Hello, hope someone knows about this glitch too?:

When I receive an email with this particular video, it produces no sound since a month ago. In the past it was ok and all other videos i receive are ok. This video has no name, such as i.e. "YouTube", or anything. It just opens up as a small, vertical rectangle, I'd say, around 4" x 2" or so always at the upper left hand of the screen. No sound at all anymore. I tried to get a name for it so I could tell them, but the only thing I got is: "Windows Media Audio/Video File", and the last one I received has this name (which refers only to the subject, not the company): 50's Newsreal.wmv.

Would appreciate it a lot if someone could help as to how to identify this company so i can tell them that it is the ONLY company of all videos i receive that has no sound?

    Thanks ever so much! Adela

    Welcome Adela

Telling who made a video clip is almost impossible unless one used a modified version of the program which created it ... such as those built from source code.

Try mediainfo or gspot from the tools section to determine the internals of the affected clip and post screen shots showing the results.
