  1. We are beingn called upon by a client to convert thier DVD to .wmv for internet streaming to the usual specifications.

    The .VOB files did not yeild the entire video and the resulting import/conversion leaves me about 10 minutes shy from where I ought to be.

    I played the DVD in the DVD player and confirmed that the video is about 25 minutes, yet when importing the only visible _#.VOB files I'm short on video.

    I have verified the video is on the DVD but cannot seem to retrive it. Are there invisible .VOB files?

    Has anyone ever heard of this??

  2. no they can't be invisible. try using dvdshrink to extract the movie only. then use vobtompeg to convert the extracted vobs to mpeg-2.
