Okay, here's my situation...
I have a CD-R that has a ton of great .AVI files burned to it that I would love to convert and burn as a VCD (on a seperate disc) - but for some reason that particular CD-R disc is flawed in some way. It either has a small scratch, surface problem, corrupt file, or something - because when I try to copy certain files to my hard-drive it pauses about half-way through and give me an error message. My conversion software also freezes when I try to just convert straight from the disc...
So what in the heck can I do? I tried to use one of those "CD-DOCTOR" kits on the disc and it didn't really help. Anybody have any ideas? Please, help me out here...
