    hi people,

    not sure where this one should go so i am putting it here.

    was wondering how come it seems that when i play my captures on my dvd player the ratio looks biger than the source?

    depends on alot .... what was it captured at ( 480X480? .. 4:3 16:9 ? ) and what software you used to go from a capture to a playable cd-r/dvd-r

    i captured at 352X240, then converted to mpeg1 using tmpgenc, using the vd template, the ratio was 4:3.

    the video just seemed bigger than it should, i know it should be big cause i have a 32" tv, but it just didn't look right.
