Please, I'm "desesperado":
I recently bought a very cheap YUKAI V520 (Mustek's clone) and before that I read reports saying that this device reads nearly everything (including X(S)VCD and raw MPEG files! and only excluding mini DVD) but I think I have a new firmware version (more stable and clear but with less functionallity: VER2.01)
The drama is that when I try to play Photo Albums VCDs (created and burnt with WinOnCD 5) a message appears suggesting me to make sure that the player is compatible with VCD 2.0. In my other DVD player (an AIWA) this means that PBC is disabled. But when I push the PBC button in my YUKAI remote it does nothing...
any hint ???
(by the way: firmware version and some other extra features like zone hacking are available throught a hidden mennu: [setup]...[next]+[stop]+[pause]+[prev]+[next] ) A sarcastic "you should not be here" message also appears ...)
