I bought one when computer geeks had them, but they are sold out. My buddy saw the video that I captured and was looking for one too since the quality was so good. I've seen the whole deal w/the camera, but I haven't seen just the bare capture card. Anyone know of any sources? Thanks!

you can get them off ebay, but whoever bought them is starting the bidding around ~$25 plus shipping, so you're better off getting the one w/ the camera. i already ordered one, so i'll post how the quality is next week or whenever it arrives.
they did actually have one back in stock (by itself) the other day, but it sold fast, so it was probably just returned, so maybe have your friend order one even though they're out so you get the next one. -

Exactly where do you see a $25.00 rebate on their website and who pays it?

OK, found the rebate:
http://www.tigerdirect.com/sectors/Rebates/PDFs/D85-8142.PDF
I think this rebate is from TigerDirect. Looks like a good deal if you actually get the rebate (and any rebate from that place in New Rochelle is probably questionable, but...)

What OS are you using and what chipset does your existing WinTV card use for capture?
