Hi,
I am trying to insert a stopwatch timer into a video clip using Premiere CS5.5 and the native timecode video effects do not give me the required display. I would like to get a timer that will display elapsed time to tenths and one hundredths of a second and start at a specific point.
Searching around a bit it seems that there used to be an Adobe plugin called DV Date distributed by a compant called Digital Video Engineering, however they seem to no longer exist of have changed name.
Can anyone please assist with the insertion of the timer or let me know of a suitable plugin for Premiere CS5.5. The native timecode video effect in Premiere gives the elapsed time in the format of "hh:mms:frames" whereas I need tenths and one hundredths of a second.
The timer is for sporting event videos where fractions of a second play a role.
Thx

Do you have after effects? You can overlay and display hundredths of a second with it's internal timecode plugin

What's the problem with incorporating a split-screen or box wipe of your preferred type of stopwatch, running in time with the sports footage?
