Hi all,
I've been using this trouble free for a few years now and recently reinstalled it to a new hard drive, with Windows 7 64 bit and a new Sapphire HD5450 1GB DDR3 Graphics Card and in a media centre pc set up using my Sony Bravia as monitor.
1.All resulting files when capturing from my V+ box have slightly out of sync audio, just enough to grate.
2.They also have horizontal 'venitian blind' lines whenever there is fast movement.
I have googled and forum searched for all i'm worth but to no avail.
Software bundled as doubtless you will know is Arcsoft TME.
Keep thinking it's related to a setting such as deinterlace,ntsc/pal,refresh rate, but can find very little to adjust.
Can some kind soul point me in the right direction as my backlog is growing!

Your footage is being interlaced, just use a proper deinterlacing filter to get rid of it.

Depends, you're recording TV programs? They're usually interlaced, they will display properly on a TV, but you only notice them when you try to convert them to a progressive format.
Otherwise, if non-television standards [DVD,VHS,TV] display interlacing as well, it could be your PVR.
As for the audio, I'm not sure.
