  1. Everyone on my yahoo email address list received a bogus email showing my email as the sender. What gives?

Yes, it's a virus. Scan your computer. This virus resides in the SYSTEM VOLUME INFORMATION folder (at least mine did). Google on how to access the SVI folder and DELETE all restore points (new ones are created every day).

I have KAV running and this one slipped through, but a scan found it. It was sending emails to people on my contacts list at times when my computer wasn't even on.

For me, so far so good.

have them check the email headers. if they look at the complete header it will have the ip it was sent from. have them see if it was actually sent from your computer.

I used Kaspersky Antivirus to scan.

I found that a copy of the email was in my "SENT" folder.

If you don't have an AV installed (why not?), boot with a Bart PE disk and just erase all the files inside the SVI folders.
