    Hi

    I transcodes a file with with soft subtitles using handbrake. Now the subtitle track language is unknown/default in VLC and iTunes. I use appleTV2 and it can't play this subtitles. Other files have subtitle track language = "Svenska" and play nice in AppleTV2.

    You must make ttxt subs. You can try subler in macos or srtiphone for windows.

    Cool, I will try it. Do you mean that the suggested software will change the track to a ttxt-track and let me change the language? Or do I need to extract and transcode again?
