Ok, I've been trying to encode in DivX format for awhile now. I use the DivX 5.0 codec with VirtualDub, and it works fine for the video. For audio, VirtualDub wont let me use Windows Media Audio, which is fine with me, but when I try to use the Lame MP3 codec (ACM version) in VirtualDub, I always get the error "Error initializing audio stream compression." The codec loads in the TMPGEnc avi output, but with choppy results. Outputting to full, uncompressed audio is killing my hard drive. Any ideas, or other codecs to use?
Matt
