I feel like I might be abusing this help forum asking all sorts of questions about different cards. So, let me apologize for my enthusiasm. I just want to be an informed consumer and be happy with the product
I want to spend 600 or less dollars for an analog video capture system. I say system, because I don't care if it's a capture card, video card (e.g. Asus Geforce 3), VCD recorder (e.g. Terapin), DV capture system with analog input (e.g. Sony DVMC-DA2), or anything else for that matter. I really would appreciate suggestions for devices that capture quality analog, that when once burned to VCD, you wouldn't know you were watching a VCD (you might think you were watching a TV broadcast). I don't care about the editing power or the software packaged with the system. I just want BIG TIME quality capture. Do I need to spend more than 600 to get the type of quality capture I'm looking for?
All suggestions are very much appreciated
Thanks for your help,
Strep
