    Recently every time I try to play a video in high quality I get an error message.

    I'm not even sure when/how/why that 'DivX web player' got installed, or whether I need it?

    Can one of the experts suggest how I might fix this please?

    If only I knew how! There's no entry for it in Add/Remove. It appears in my Firefox add-ons:

    Although I cannot apparently uninstall them, I've disabled both. That seems to have removed the annoyance from YouTube.

    They must have got installed automatically. Anyone know how?
