  1. I purchased a cheap HD camcorder today (FHD) and it works amazingly well. Outside... Inside it has a weird fuzz that i can't seem to edit or stop. Any help? i'll post a video link soon.

Inside you are going to need lighting. I suggest IKEA for cheap lights.

No problem! Just know your limitations and shoot in good lighting. I have a few cheapee cameras and they're great for multi-cam too.

Between my Flip, Playsport, Canon G7, and Lumix FZ-35, and Zoom H2, I can cruise any venue "fully loaded" wearing cargo shorts and flops.

P.S. Sometimes I see those camera geeks hoofing all their gear and footlong lenses trying to sneak up on a bird and I just laugh.

After spending all that, you could have afforded a good cam.

Yeah, I could have gotten one good cam, but then I would have all my eggs in one basket. The thing is, I don't want to invest in something that I can't knock around a little or worry about getting losing or ripped off, like the soldier in Full Metal Jacket that got distracted.

And I'm not one for cases either, PITA.

Two basic types of lights: A direct key and a background fill.

Purpose of the key is to light the subject of interest like this TV reporter. The idea is to increase contrast vs. the background. Pros use these lights even outside in sunlight.

The background light raises the black level thereby controlling noise. Better to have a dimmer on the background light.

Bulbs can be CFL's to save heat and electricity.

Wonder if i get two or three, i could place a soft cover over one of them?

Those are a bit brute force for inside a house. Potential for fire if covered. Halogen bulbs get very hot and change color when on dimmers. I prefer the cool CFL lights. You can buy dimmable CFL now.

The Halogens would be good for outdoor or large space lighting.
