I just tried to encode using CCE SP.
I got the following error message:
"CCE error failed: Video check-sum is different from that of previous pass. Source video data or time code may be different. Please check video tape or the information file.
---information--
Current: check sum = 001ee5d5
Previous : check sum = 001ee535
I'm new at this. I tried following the "CCE 2.5 SP DVD frameserving with Avisynth" guide.
I would greatly appreciate any help.
Thanks
Steve

Sometimes the checksum errors are due to overclocking and sometimes due to other things, I haven't seen any completely definitive answer anywhere for this problem. CCE seems to be very delicate. There is a patch for this problem that will take care of some of the problems and there is a link to the patch in the DVD2SVCD Q&A page. Unfortunately, I can't seem to create you a link.. go to http://www.doom9.org then click on forums, go to the DVD2SVCD basic topics board and click on the newbie faq sticky thread. From there click on the Official DVD2SVCD Q&A link and scroll to Q27 and you'll find the link to the patch. There is also a lot of discussion on the checksum error problem on the basic topics board, do a search and you'll find a number of threads. Good luck!
