Xvid4psp installs most codec by default. Is there any way to speed up encoding if I get the true 64bit x264 core AVC codec? Thanks... I am using windows 7 64 bit but xvid4PSP crash most of the time. I even changed the different versions of the K lite codec pack to 64 bit version and XVid4PSP to 5.32 all the way to the 5.035 r132 and even using version 6.0 beta... what is going on? Strangely on the XP and Vista versions... Never had any crashes... strangely for the 64 bit versions it is terribly buggy... I am beginning to wonder the heck with so called 64 BIT. I do not see any difference in time encoding... as it is terribly slow. I have 16GB memory installed.... and using ATI 5770

64 bit x264 isn't significantly faster than 32 bit x264. And a lot of the 64 bit software is still buggy. I would stick with 32 bits for video encoding.
