    If the DVD you are working with has subtitles, then the subtitles will be retained in the resultant mpeg.

    So, if your player supports subtitle streams, you can turn them on and off. For example in VLC:

    That's a great improvement ChrissyBoy. I remember the old versions wouldn't transfer the subtitles, a real pain, had to use DVDSubEdit to extract the subs. Thanks, and keep up the good work on VOB2MPG.
