  1. Hi..,
I recently purchased a Terminator-2 DVD, While playing on corel windvd, the info shows Interlaced MPEG-2, what is interlaced MPEG-2 ? when i play other dvd movies the info is MPEG-2 & Print is damn fine, but interlaced mpeg-2 has different picture quality like side borders not fitting entire screen & slight blur.

    thanks

  2. Terminator-2 DVD has two or more released version.
Only first released was excellent in terms quality of video and audio (True HD or DTS).
Rest were crap either in video quality of audio quality.

  3. But what actually is meaning of interlaced mpeg-2?

  4. Is it a PAL or an NTSC DVD? Anyway, an interlaced MPEG is one that was encoded as interlaced. If PAL, it could have been (and likely was) encoded as interlaced while at the same time the source was progressive.

A small sample would be nice.

Was this a proper release or a bootleg? It very well could have been someone who captured it from air/cable from an interlaced source. Does it look like a pressed DVD or a DVDR?
    Have a good one,
