driver error dvdx1.8

Hi,
when i whant to rip a movie with dvdx1.8 both version (p4+1.8) i get the next error what can i do about it.
WNASPI 32 driver initialisation failed

i have a p4 1500 pc.
i download divered dvdx1.8 and i get also the same error.
in version 1.7 i have no problem also in lower version i beleve that de 1.7 version also i for the pentium 4.

so can sombody help me.

You need to install ASPI drivers for Windows XP. They are not included in XP.

You can download the latest version for free from adaptec here:

i have 1 qustion more dou you no how to instal de panasonic encoder in dvdx and how it works and can you tel me of de kwali is bether than.
and is it slower of faster when i rip a dvd.

Personally, I think DVDx is crap!. But if you want to use it, just install the plugin in the same directory of DVDx and it will work.

The quality with the Panasonic plugin will be far better that with the internal DVDx encoder.

I use Xmpeg 4.31a. Frameserve with VideoServer to TMPEG.

i also have a problem with frame serving with tmpgenc i try severel times to frameserv bud on tiil nou it whent rong.

an i als use virtueal dub to compres movie with sub de last time i get a lot of error with vbr i dont't now how to react .
maybe you now a way.
