i've never really had problems playing videos on my system thanks to the latest k lite mega codec packs but recently, i've been having problems playing this certain set of TS files that i recently downloaded. i love using windows media player and so i always make it a point to play videos there. my problem is: the ac3 audio plays (you can hear it playing), but you can't see the video at all. its like WMP treats the file just like an audio file (you can even turn on the visualizations lol).
well, i have installed haali media splitter and made sure that it has ts support enabled. the haali tray icon even appears when i play the ts file so i assume haali is the splitter that is being used.
i even tried downloading some sample transport streams ("http://www.dododge.net/roku/hd-test-streams/football.ts") and they turn out to play perfectly.
its really bothering me that i can't play these files so any help will really be appreciated! please and thank you

The video is Microsoft VC1. WMP should be able to play that. Make sure the "Download codecs automatically" option is enabled.
