Just got an LG BluRay burner, WH10LS30.
When burning a Verbatim BD-RE disc (which is a 2x disc) using ImgBurn, the drive doesn't burn any faster than 1.1x, and the Device Buffer only goes up to 50%
Media: Verbatim 25GB BD-RE 2x - VERBAT-IM0-000
Burner: LG WH10LS30
OS: Vista 64-bit Home Premium
4GB memory
Anyone else run into this before?

Thats about right, 2x is the max speed it is capable of... much like your car is capable of 110mph, but you dont drive it flat out all the time. Look up CAV and try nerospeed, inner rings are slower.
Corned beef is now made to a higher standard than at any time in history.
The electronic components of the power part adopted a lot of Rubycons. -
Oh, I understand that it's the max speed, but the drive never burned past 1.1, no matter if I was burning 2GB or 24, and the device buffer never moved past 50% (it didn't drop lower either, which is good).
This behavior is only limited to the BD-RE (and I only have one to test on, since they're a tad pricey). DVDs burn at their max speed (or very close to it) and the device buffer is at 100% during those burns.
