Ladies and Gents, i have a daughter whos growing up bilingual. I.e. i would like to have the italian audio trace of L'era glaciale (Ice Age) from the italian dvd, the german audio trace from the other dvd and bring them together on a new dvd, so i dont have to bring everytime both dvds when we travel. And i would like to choose the language from the setup menu. Is there any software permitting me so?

Are Italian and German already on your DVD or are you trying to combine two DVDs?

They are both PAL format so as long as the movie lengths of both DVD are the same then it should be pretty easy. My DVD authoring program can only accept ONE audio track because it is so old but I believe there is even a freebie program(or two) that can give you a DVD with two audio tracks.
Your first step is to rip the DVDs to your hard drive with something like DVDFabDecrypter(there is a FREE portion of that program).

You could join two dvds with dvd shrink in the reauthoring mode.

Or if you want same video with two audio tracks it gets much more complex, you have to demux the video and audio with pgcdemux, use muxman to author a new dvd with the video and both audio tracks, add back menus to the new authored dvd with vobblanker. But you wont be able to choose audio from the setup menu, you have to use choose from the remote control audio-button.

You join under the reauthoring mode, you can add video from two folders there. See http://www.dvdshrink.info/reauthor_basic.php

I doubt DVDShrink can handle Ice Age for ripping.
