Blurring VCD

Hello,
I am sure this is a stupid question, but I really am a
Newbie. I went from myMavica camera to computer
then using TMPGnc and UleadDVD studio to VCD.
The image is very blurry. I tried VCD and SVCD but it
is the same.
My Question: My image size was 160 x 112 with the Mavica
Camera. I was showing the VCD on a 32 TV.
Is this the reason for the blurry picture? If so, is there a way
to correct this?

For VCD capture in 352x288 if you are running Pal, for NTSC 352x240
