  1. Hello,

    I converted an avi to mpeg....When it finished, I checked it out and I've lost the last couple of minutes from the film. What can I do? I already tried using mpeg corrector..
    Thanks..

    Try this. Split the AVI up and try and cut the last few mins. Covert the last few mins. Now join the 2 mpegs as one file. let me know if it works.

    you need a editor. check out the EDIT section on the left. they will give all the info you need on how to JOIN two mpeg files. As far as a AVI editor I got them form download.com. Most good ones are shareware but you can use them for 30 days. The TOOLS section may have something as well.

  6. I manage to join both files, but the resluts arent really satisfying...
    This is what will happen if I play the movie;
    It'll have a long black screen from the time where I lost the last minutes till the file I added.
    Isnt there a way both file could just merge in 1 file and not join the way I just explained? Otherwise I have to edit allot more (cut the first file, second file perciselly per keyframe, etc) or I have to convert it all over again which I guess its easier...But I'll also have the risk that I'll have the same error again
    What do you think?
    If I only knew what went wrong....
