    Hello,
I am looking for some iPhone experts. I am getting a new iPhone 4 from my work. This will be my first smart phone I have ever used. I have read a little about unlocking all apps on these. Can this hurt my phone by doing this? Want to make sure because it is my work phone. Anyone have links on how to do this?

  2. You don't own the phone. If I were your boss, I would fire you if you unlocked the phone.

Seriously a bad idea to tamper with a work phone. Most employers make you sign a contract saying that you won't tamper and lay out the details of the punishments if you do. My wife's employers would make her pay a $200 dollar fine just for bluetoothing ringtones onto her work phone. Just not worth it if you ask me. Jobs are too hard to come by.

ok thanks for the advice. My wife said the same thing. But I was not sure what was involved in jailbreaking a phone..... or if it was legal. I have heard both ways.

It has been determined legal, but probably goes against company policy.
