I have an LG RHT498H DVD recorder - went on-line to get a region code hack - the screen came up with a row of hex codes, OP1 to OPA, and I had to change OP6 from aa to 8e, however I'm sure I accidentally changed a few of the other codes. Now when I come out of the screen by pressing menu list on the remote, the machine switches itself off. When I switch back on again I get the word Error on the front panel. Can anyone give me the full hex numbers for the list of codes, or any other resolution?

I too have had a similar experience on my LG RHT 497H hard disk/DVD player/recorder, but after changing the ISP6 "hex" from aa to 8e and exiting as described, the machine switched off and I am now unable to even switch it on! I too think I accidentally changed some of the other listed "hex" numbers when trying to move the curser down to ISP6 location. I don't know what the changes were and am now not able to access anything to make corrections even if I did know what all the "hex" references should be. Maybe there is a way to reset the machine so I can start again? Does anyone know? Help!
