Not sure what audio ripping did you tried, but if you have a DVD ripped to your hard drive, get PGCDemux (free), highlight Title and demux. Audio will be most likely AC3 format so you have to convert it to WAV (or MP3, if your player can play that). For conversion you can use BeSweet with BeLight (all free).

Don't be silly. Of course it does. And if you were more clear about exactly where these songs you wanted were, then we could help. If you can pinpoint the PGC or Cell, Title or Menu, where what you want is located, then you can extract the audio. Tinker may have the answer for you, something I was going to suggest as well. Rather than getting the entire PGC, get the cell that contains a song you want. And check only 'demux all audio'. It'll be in AC3 audio most likely, and you may have to convert it to something else for playing in the car.

How's a pic going to show the various PGCs/Cells where the songs are? Open the DVD in PGCEdit and use the Trace to first go to the menu and then to the various songs. Take note of where they are, the VTS and PGCs/Titles. Afterwards use PGCDemux to extract them. I'll say it again, if it's on the DVD, PGCDemux can extract it. But you have to know where on the DVD they are first.

Your English is fine. If you hadn't mentioned it no one would have known that English wasn't your first language. Not because your English is perfect, it isn't quite, but because so many native English speakers can't write or don't write well. If you've only been learning English for six months, you've done very well in that short amount of time.
Because the 'problem' isn't the least bit out of the ordinary. Both tinker and I already gave you ways to locate the songs. Have you never used PGCEdit? Time to learn. I'll still bet dollars to donuts that had you located the songs properly using PGCEdit, PGCDemux could have gotten them. Your real problem wasn't demuxing them but finding them in the first place, something PGCEdit could have done in all of about 30 seconds, which would have then allowed you to find the right menu(s) in PGCDemux to extract the audio.Last edited by manono; 10th Aug 2010 at 01:31.

Your English is very good for six month learning.
Both sentences are correct, but they mean little different thing. First one is a question with a suggestion (in this case to try the program). Second one is just a surprise question.
As for VOBrator, it may be an easy program to use, but VOB is 1000KB size, so it may include all menus with their sound.
If you use PGCDemux, you can demux a sound track and video for individual cell. It may help you in the future.
There is a general description for PGCEdit, but it is not a manual. You have to play with it to figure it out. It may be hard at the beginning , but you will get hang of it soon. It is good to learn DVD structure, and how it works together. -
To be brief and blunt, the educational systems in the USA, Canada, the UK, Australia and New Zealand have all failed to produce educated people who can write properly. I live in the USA and the educational system has just gone down the toilet. Everyone complains about how uneducated students are, but the solutions to the problem are useless here. Learning to write properly and to understand English grammar is no longer important in our schools. I could say more, but this is a video forum and not a place to debate the failures of the English language education systems in various countries.

MEGAHURTS... thanx for the referece to DVD Audio Extractor (I was lurking the thread); I used it on two DVD movies, and it extracted the audio sections quickly and flawlessly. I imported into Audacity for editing out the sections I didn't want. Excellent suggestion! I don't know who the guy is that created that software but he came up with a great idea!

There's a good online manual for PGCEdit:
http://download.videohelp.com/r0lZ/pgcedit/doc/PgcEdit_Manual.htm
And I agree with jman98 about the appalling state of writing in the English speaking world. In addition to the problems with the education system, I would also add the rise of Internet messaging and phone texting (and now tweeting) as encouraging shortcuts and leading to the 'dumbing-down' of writing.
