  1. if i want to cut a vcd file with tmpgenc 2.5.3 it produces the video part and the audio part but the programm freezes when it wants to output the cutted file
    i hope u understand that

    I've got the same problem so I used the other method with BBMPEG. Works fine for me!

    Sometimes this happens, if the selected type is different to your mpeg.

    From the dropdown list "Type 1 system automatic" you can change this to MPEG 1 VCD to match your mpeg type. If the mpeg is 100% VCD

    Sometimes it looks like its frozen, but starts to write again after a short while.

    There is also a "Correct" button, hit this before you start

    Hey all,

    I have learned; that if you just cut the movie to a whole second, it always works out fine. What I do also, is that since the movie has to go on min. 2 CDs - I let the 2 cuts over lap each other a little and then it doesn't really matter if you cut it at the exact frame.
