I have a LG blu ray player and I converted most of my mkv files to divx using SUPER and Divx Plus Converter. The files work perfectly on my ps3 but not on my blu ray player because there is always an error that says file is larger than 720x576, but I can play my other hd avi files that I download on my player and not the converted files. Anybody have a solution?

Can you post the details from the hd avi files that works? Video and audio codec, resolution, bitrate, etc.
And what settings are you using in super and divx plus converter?

  3. The player may be limited to 720x576 when playing Divx/Xvid files even though it is capable of playing HD h.264 video. That is not uncommon.

You will have to use a frame size less than 720x576. Or make an AVCHD disc. Or get a different player.
