I had made several large light weight wooden frames for fabric and oil paintings, up to 72" x 60".
With the right type of fabrics, I should able to make a home brew projection.
So, I don't have to project video on a blank wall.
What fabrics that I can get from JoAnn Fabric or Walmart to build a good projection screen ?
How much harder is that to figure out a back projection screen ( instead of the front projection ) ?

Some people use a flat wall and special paint such as ScreenGoo but most use material on a wall:

Any fabric would work for front projection but back projection requires special material.Last edited by MOVIEGEEK; 13th Jun 2010 at 13:55.

The trouble is projector only work well in my man cave in the basement.
I am planning to occasionally set it up in the bed room to watch some late shows.
I was looking for screen material wit high gain, to get a brighter picture in the bed room.
From your link, now I know high gain material has limited viewing angle. THANK YOU.
