Hi guys,
i have converted a MPEG2 video in MP4 video with StaxRip.
I have choice a codec x264 and MP4 container.
Now i want split a small parts in the video but i cant.
When i send this video in virtualdub, this one say "cannot detect file type '..../myvideo.mp4'"
i need cut this video with a visualization like vdub to remove advertisements(/publicity?!)
Help please !

it's usually better to split before you encode, because h.264 isn't an editing friendly format -
yes ok you're right I'll split the mpeg2 is less problematic
