Need codes to convert Australian DVD player into a multi region DVD player

Can someone help me with what code I would need to convert an LG V8824W DVD/Video player so that it plays multi region disks... I want to be able to play both UK and USA dvds aswell as Australian if poss. I am not too technically minded so will need step by step instructions on how to enter the codes aswell....

The following has been reported to work

1. Power on the player with no disk in the drive

2. Press "PAUSE" on the remote

3. Enter "3 1 4 1 5 9" on the remote (the word COdE appears on the display)

4. Enter "0" on the remote (0 = All Regions, 1 = Region 1, 2 = Region 2, etc.)

5. Press "PAUSE" on the remote

6. Power the player off and then back on
