Capturing from Sony GV-D200 into Final Cut Pro

Hi Everyone,

I'm trying to capture my old Hi8 tapes into my MacPro computer. I bought the Sony GV-D200, and have it connected to the Mac with the firewire, and to a monitor. When I do a "capture now" in Final Cut Pro, I can see the video on the monitor, but nothing shows up in the capture window of the Mac.

Any ideas of what I am doing wrong?
