  1. I recently decided to rip some BR TV series I have (Planet Earth and Band of Brothers), I currently have the isos on my desktop but I am having issues with the conversion.

What is the best method to convert the programmes to a different format which is good quality (since thats the reason I got BR versions) and use up the least possible space while also working on my PS3.

Also, should I deinterlace 1080i video or unlike PAL it looks alright interlaced?

What is the best method/codec to convert the m2ts files? I already have Anydvd HD and can play the files on my computer.

I apologise for such a noob question, but this is proving to be an issue for me because file space and quality is a high priority unlike my old DVD rips where the slight loss of quality was less noticeable to me.

    thank you

  3. I know its been a while now, but I finally got the time to truly try this.

Right now I keep having issues with ripbot264, in case I can't get this to work (I am asking elsewhere), is there a good alternative free or commercial?
