    I read the guide to make a Mini-DVD...now my question :

    Is it possible to burn a short vob file (5 minutes) with Dolby Digital 5.1 Sound on a CD-R (not a DVD-R !) without having a DVD-Writer ?

    If possible, which burn-software should i use and what are the options ?

    I have a Liteon 24x CD-Writer and Nero or WinOnCD 5 PE.

    you must author it as dvd
    www.vcdhelp.com/burnmpg.htm#dvd
    and then you can burn it but it wont work on most standalone dvd players.
