I'm converting my VHS tapes to my computer using the Sony Media Converter and was wondering if I should buy a new VCR w/S-video output or just stick with my VCRplus? The price is really a worry of mine, just quality, any insights will be appreciated.
Thanks

If the Videotape itself was not recorded in/with the S-VHS format, I think you'll find that improvement is only slightly or not noticable at all. If you plan on recording and converting in the future - then by all means purchase it.
