    hi im new here
    and my question is why does the video files on my camera keep on getting corrupted sometimes it will do playback then all of a sudden when you try to play it back again it freezes i know its not the memory card cause when i take it out
    it does the same thing .

    hi and welcome to the forum! it might help if you at least gave the make/model of the videocam..... do the files play ok if you transfer them to your computer?

    did you try taking the memory card out of the camera and trying the files directly in the pc? do they work there?
