    Okay, this is BS!!

Someone bought something i listed as UNTESTED and AS IS!!!

Paid $30.00 for an old mobo and cpu i had sitting around.

I started it at .99 and stated everything very clearly, i said the onboard video DID NOT WORK but i had no way to test the pci-e slot & other then the fact that it turned on.

So he got it saturday i believe, i sent it by priority mail on tuesday, and left me negative feedback last night.
I hate low feedback new members.

So i am like fine, left a reply under my feedback, and when i try to leave him feedback, it will only let me leave positive feedback or no feedback at all!!

No option for a return negative or even a Neutral ??
Yet other transactions i have sitting right now waiting for feedback have all the options, pos. neg. and neutral.

So because this jackass left me a negative ebay won't let me leave him anything but a positive ??

    WTF!!!!!

eBay had some policies changes a while back so that sellers may not leave negative feedback to a buyer after the buyer leaves negative feedback. Its been that way for over a year, I think several.

You may fall under the category of 'Feedback extortion'. I suggestion reporting to ebay.

Sellers have an easy way to report problems with buyers
Sellers can use the seller reporting hub to report an unpaid item, Feedback extortion, or any other problem with a buyer. eBay investigates all reports and will remove any negative or neutral Feedback that's in violation of eBay policy.

Yeah it sucks. As a seller you can't leave any feedback other than positive. I think the policy is shit but it's been that way for a while now and hasn't changed so I don't look for it to change anytime in the future.

Some bidders just don't pay any attention to what's written in the listing. I've seen tons of listings where untested/as-is items wind up with a final price almost as much as it would cost for the same item brand new.

Like Tearren said it would be worth contacting ebay to see what they can do. Hopefully they will remove the negative.

I've given up on Fleabay.....I've sold a few computer hardware stuff a few years ago but gave up since they raised their fees for sellers....I sell my stuff on the Craigslist now and so far I haven't had problems....I meet the buyers in a public place and the transaction is done....No more Fleabay for me.

    Well that's just F'd up!!!

Yeah i was thinking about contacting e-bay about it.

The thing is, i don't make these big long descriptions with 200 paragraphs like i see some sellers doing, where it takes 20 minutes of reading to find the info you need.

What it is, the condition and a couple photos.

The dude said he "owns" a PC repair shop....

That about sounds right, most people i have met working in or running PC repair shops were about as sharp as a bag of wet hair

No offense to anyone here :P

  8. If you are a seller then you can't leave negative WHATSOEVER. Even if they never pay, you are not allowed to leave anything but positive.

@Tearren: He will NEVER have that feedback removed using any method on Ebay. They will always say that you don't qualify and thank you for using Ebay.
I was actually blackmailed once... blatantly!. The SOB emailed me saying that if I didn't send him a couple extra things he wanted besides what he won, he was going to leave negative feedback for me. Guess what?, he did. I contacted Ebay and even showed them the emails he sent me threatening to do that (VERY VERY easy to verify it as the bastard even sent them through the Ebay messaging system).
Guess what happened?... I didn't qualify for feedback extortion.

I would love to kick them in the ass and leave... but unfortunately there is no other place to go (that actually compares to it).
But I hate them BIG TIME.
