	anydvd of course.

nope, the filmindex.xml is there on the disc. I'm wondering what it does cos this version is sold in Australia and when I chuck it into a Jap PS3 it plays with Jap trailers and menus. Now, I'm wondering if this file is the cause of this problem since I want to watch it with english menus that will simply deleting the file and all associated files fix this problem?

that's what I want to know.

Is it in the blu-ray root folder? if so I doubt it has anything to do with the blu-ray video playback.

But you can try open the file with notepad and post the information in this topic.

this is what the file says:

it does and this is sold in Australia too (coded as AB). I'm going to do a test to see if deleting this file, along with the zip file, will make it play with english menus on my japanese ps3.

there's only 1 way to find out and I've started shrinking it down with BD Rebuilder.

I've dug more into the files and it seems that there's a settings.xml file within the disc so I've modified that and will have to see if it does change.
