    Hi --

I'm currently using DVDit 6 Pro & I'm not crazy about it. I don't like some of the menu & routing that is set in the system. I also have problems making dvd's with subtitles -- a problem, I'm told is universal.

    So...
I'm looking for DVD authoring software that is:
    1) easy to learn
    2) has menus I can create
    3) allows the use of subtitles

Dolby 5.1 would be good, but not a deal breaker if not available.

    Any thoughts or suggestions?

    I use 64 bit Windows 7.

    Thanks!

DVDit 6 sucks, I don't blame you. DVDit 5 was just as bad. The last good DVDit was 2.5 PE.

I highly suggest Ulead DVD Workshop 2.
    - Buy it for huge discount ($100's off MSRP), currently $25.
    - Guide to use DVDWS2.
    - How to install DVD Workshop on Windows Vista or Windows 7

DVDWS2 is simple to use, but still has pro features and power.

Man, you're fast. I was just about to edit my post to mention that I had DVDWS 2 & did just what you suggested. But it didn't work.

Any suggestions. Maybe you can tell me what I did wrong.

    Thanks!
