Is there suppose to be any type of onscreen confirmation or anything to let me know it worked? I waiting on my first Region 2 DVD to come in the mail so I can't test it quite yet.

You could of course create a "Region 2" DVD by running a DVD through DVDShrink. If you don't already own any PAL format DVDs and use/create a Region 2 - NTSC DVD that still won't test the format conversion abilities of your DVD player.

You could also run the hack again and instead of pushing '0' for region free, push '2' for region 2 and see if one of your region 1 discs will play. Then of course switch it back to region free.
