Hi , everyone ,
I want to edit a commercial DVD, taking clips out to use in a presentation. Then burning them onto a dvd , before putting the clips onto a pen drive and show through a projector. Can anyone advise a free or commercial editor that is problem free and easy to use? How easy is this whole process? I have a Ulead studio 10 software,Decrypter, and DVD burner. Do I need anything else? apart from an editor? all assistance welcomed, cheers.

Rip to one vob with dvd decrypter, try import in ulead videostudio(?), edit, save.
Another method that does not require that you rip the entire dvd is dvd shrink, open dvd, in the reauthor part choose the clip you want, export as new dvd. Repeat for all clips. You can then reauthor all those vob clips with the free dvd flick.
And you probably need to use latest dvdfab hd decrypter or anydvd to be able to rip all DVDs. -
Thanks Baldrick, I checked ulead videostudio and its videostudio SE, it came bundled with a usb VHS transfer to computer device. Will follow your advice and see how it goes. cheers , thanks again for the direct and helpful advice.
