Hello, I have been using AutoGK to convert some of my old DVD’s to Xvid video. I first rip the DVD using DVD Shrink then use AutoGK to encode. I have an Insignia (NS-WBRDVD) Blu-Ray desktop player that supports Xvid video via a USB port. I would like to place several of my encoded DVD’s on my 16 gig thumdrive and watch them from there. However, when I convert the video using the Xvid codec my playback is very “jittery”, meaning the play is not smooth but sort of stutters. My output resolution settings in AutoGK are set to auto. Do I need to get to the hidden settings and change the fps (currently set to 23.976)? How can I get the video to play smoothly? Thanks in advance for your help.

  2. Post a 10 second untouched sample from the source DVD, one showing steady movement. No one can offer advice without knowing what the video is like.

Try another less complex method? Dvddecrypter - > ISO -> Fairusewizard?

@manono: Not sure how to do that?

@lowellriggsiam: I will look into that method.

    Thanks all

Open a VOB in DGIndex, use the [ and ] buttons to mark off a very small section, File->Save Project and Demux Video, and upload the resulting M2V if it's the right length and content to a 3rd party file sharing site, one such as MediaFire or Sendspace. Give us the link.

Thanks for the help manono, but I'm going to go with lowellriggsiam's suggestions. Fairuse Wizard worked beautifully!
