  1. Hi,
I was wondering if anyone could help me on this. I am constantly being nagged to burn movies to dvd so the family can watch them , And i could burn perfect copy using Cucusoft AVI to DVD/VCD/SVCD/MPEG Converter. That was about a year ago. Now when i try The video is very jittery and jumpy, along with the audio stopping at times. I calculate the bitrate using your bitrate calculator. I tryed TMPGEncoder, but it took an hour longer and produced 'little' better results.

I dont understand why i cant burn a perfect copy. I have tryed different avi's.

    Any ideas

P.S. I'd really like to use Cucusoft if i could as it's much faster. Mabye update it ?

    Try uninstalling and reinstalling maybe.

You could also try another app such as ConvertX2dvd.

There are too many variable involved. Could just be bad/low quality avi's, your media, conversion app, or any number of other things.

  3. Wow, thanks ConvertXtoDVD works Great.

Just one question. Most if not all of my films are in 16:9 aspect ratio. Changing it to 4:3 should make it full screen? And will it "trim" off the edges of the video ?
