    So I've got someone on the other side of the planet whom I need to film a couple scenes for me. The problem is, he is a fucktard nerd-wannabe from a third world country, and is lucky enough to know how to navigate web pages let alone work an encoder.

    Can anyone suggest an encoder or some kind of routine that is easy, simple and can accomplish the following:

    Convert his Motion JPEG AVI into H.264 (container doesn't matter) with nominal settings that will process minutes of 480p at reasonable speed on a Pentium 4 3.00 GHz.

    I tried SUPER but it kept outputting flickering/noise on the processed file. He isn't smart enough to know how to work VirtualDub and install x264vfw, and just keeps bugging my ass with questions.

    I'm thinking of sending him x264.exe and a .bat with a script. It would probably be the simplest way, but the video file on his camera would be too large to transfer to the admin directory on his comp (he has no space) and hell if I know how to browse to drive G:\ on CMD. If anybody does, post the script here.

    Avidemux is so easy a caveman can do it.

    Video = MP4 AVC (x264), Audio = AAC (faac), Format = MP4.
