  1. I am trying to copy a DVD using DVDShrink 3.2. The backup finished successfully. But when I played the DVD, it skipped to the last 2 minutes of the movie. All the files from the original DVD have been copied to the new DVD. Here is a list of the files on the DVD:

    VIDEO_TS.BUP
    VIDEO_TS.IFO
    VIDEO_TS.VOB
    VTS_01_0.BUP
    VTS_01_0.IFO
    VTS_01_0.VOB
    VTS_01_1.VOB
    VTS_01_2.VOB
    VTS_01_3.VOB
    VTS_01_4.VOB

When I played the DVD, it only played the last file VTS_01_4.VOB. Any idea how can I fix this?

did u rip the dvd disc with a dvd fab decrypter or anydvd first? if you just used dvd shrink and the disc has copy protection scheme you'll likely not get the entire movie backed up. you gotta use a ripping tool that can remove the copy protection scheme first. what dvd movie are you trying to back up?

  3. Thanks! I downloaded DVD FAB and it worked perfectly.

It's a fitness DVD which I have backed up before using DVDShrink and it worked, However, my old computer broke down and I was trying to use my laptop to back up the original DVD again. But this time it didn't work. And I thought it might have something to do with the settings of DVDShrink or Nero on my laptop. Thanks again.

Start by copying them to your HDD and playing them form there. If it works, try burning again, with Imgburn, to quality media.

If it still fails to play, try ripping with ISOPuzzle.

Finally, you could try using VOB2MPG on the files to extract the title as an mpg file, then author a new disc.
