I have a DVD-R I need to tweak. What I need to do is extract the M2V file from the VOBs, so I can bring them into my DVD creation software. Don't ask questions, it's just what I want to do, so work with me please.
SmartRipper normally does this well, but won't seem to read the disc. DVD Decrypter will read the disc, but it puts each VOB into seperate M2V files. What I want is what SmartRipper normally does; extract the entire disc into 1 single M2V file.
Can anyone suggest a ripper which can do this? I'm a bit amiss because I've used SmartRipper to back up store-bought movies and can't figure out why it can't rip this DVD-R. Rather than install 30 different programs and test them all myself, I'm hoping someone out there already knows of a program which can help.
Thanks in advance!

I think you can disable splitting in dvd decrypter, check under options and file or ifo mode for splitting settings.
Or rip with dvddecrypter and demux to a m2v with pgcdemux.Last edited by Baldrick; 9th May 2010 at 10:43.

Yes....File Splitting NONE, IFO Mode, DVDDecrypter.
Stream Processing, Enable Stream Processing, Demux. -
DUH! As you can see from the join date in my profile I've been doing this for a while, but sometimes I'm still a n00b. It's always good to check the program setup tab before asking questions... Thanks, DVD Decrypter is now doing exactly what I need!
