I've used tmpeg encoder lots of times, for cutting etc. But now, I've captured a sequence with my ATI All-in-wonder Radeon, and I'm going to cut it with tmpeg, but when I do, the audio get's out of sync!

Has anyone else had this problem? I've never experienced it.

  2. I've had that problem before. My ati card captures mpeg1 out of sync and sometimes mpeg2. I don't believe tmpeg is your problem. I have started capturing avi with my ati, and the quality is better and audio is in sync. I don't know what format you are capturing. Does your capture play out of sync before you split it. If not than forget what I just said.

I'm capturing realtime VCD .. capturing AVI isn't an option really, only if I could capture at at least 640x480, and I can, but the dang file takes 1 gig / minute

The captured mpg file plays perfectly, but when I cut it with tmpeg encoder the audio is out of sync.. badly!
